Dr. LaQue Perkins
35:46
You are correct Jackie. Most of the adult students are tired from Zoom for work or caring for their children. There are pros and cons on both sides.
Georgina Rivera-Singletary
36:01
I have a student who has 4 kids and always has them with her and it can be disruptive
Georgina Rivera-Singletary
36:16

49:22
what is padlet?
Dr. LaQue Perkins
50:20
I have them turn on when they are speaking. I call their names if I have questions to ensure they are participating. When the internet is unstable it is better to just use audio. With everyone on line it because nerve wrecking. I have three people online in my house and cul de sac there are 5 homes working from home. I can imagine the block and we only have one provider in the area.
christine
51:14
studies have shown that students have lower drop out rates and better grades when there is a consistent live meeting time rather than completely asynchronous.

If you want to do a quick survey Microsoft Forms is very effective. I have a step by step instruction doc if anyone needs it
